Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for Solar & BESS to oversee deployment, execution and optimization of the solar and battery energy storage fleet.

You will drive standardized operating processes, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across sites in a cross-functional structure. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement, with 25% travel and hybrid work cadence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of Solar & BESS operations experience, ERCOT a plus.
• Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into actions.
• Experience with SCADA, SAP, PI and reporting platforms.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence execution without direct authority.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Solar & BESS plants operate in accordance with approved processes, procedures and standards.
• Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly operational routines across sites.
• Monitor KPIs, availability, dispatch adherence and performance indicators.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions at site level.
• Manage OEM and maintenance vendor performance and contractual obligations.
• Support development and execution of outage plans and risk mitigation.
