Job summary

Sungrow USA Corporation is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to optimize field service operations in a hybrid Houston-based role. You will develop planning processes, align field schedules, and coordinate with technicians to deliver timely maintenance and other O&M services.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in service planning, strong scheduling software skills, and a customer-service orientation with sales teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in service planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling software and analytical tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with diverse data formats.
• Self-motivation and excellent communication abilities.
• Customer service-oriented, collaborative with sales teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain planning and scheduling processes for O&M field service activities.
• Coordinate with field service technicians to deliver clear, practical schedules.
• Analyze contractual agreements to improve efficiency of field services.
• Communicate with clients to understand and integrate their needs into service plans.
• Uphold safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in all field operations.
• Implement scheduling tools to optimize resource management.
• Manage solar and BESS plant portfolios, coordinating with O&M teams for compliance.
• Hire and manage subcontractors for O&M activities when internal resources are unavailable.
• Foster team collaboration and continuous learning.
• Ensure the O&M team is well-trained and equipped.
• Monitor inventory levels and site reports in line with client agreements.
• Evaluate O&M vendor performance and develop related processes and documentation.
• Review contracts for comprehensive O&M requirements.
• Schedule and conduct annual preventative maintenance services with clients.
