Job summary

eClinicalWorks is seeking an experienced Software Training Specialist to train doctors and clinical staff on the eCW software, including billing and ancillary functions. The role involves significant travel across the United States and remote regional work bases, with extensive onsite and classroom instruction.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or IS, 2–5 years in healthcare training/EMR, and be willing to travel 50–75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or IS; Master’s preferred.
• 2–5 years in healthcare industry, training/EMR experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and travel 50–75% per month.
• Remote – regional home base time zone needed at hire.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to train end users on eCW software and ancillary functionalities.
• Develop Workflow processes.
• Demonstrate the software to client practice, make suggestions and provide training.
• Communicate/escalate issues to Project Managers to promptly address.
• Prepare various reports such as Checklist & Expense Report.
• Document all training sessions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Software Training Specialist

Candidates that have Billing, ER & pharmacy experience highly preferred.

This position is responsible for providing training to our client practices that are using eCW Software. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a great communicator and fond of traveling. Special benefits are provided for this role that include additional time off for travel days, personal accrual of Airline and Hotel points and extensive training on eCW product, Incentives and more!

• Must become an eCW Certified Professional at completion of initial training

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science (CS) or Information Systems (IS). Master’s degree is preferred
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in healthcare industry, preferably in training and implementation of Project Management or EMR systems
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to travel an average of 50% - 75% per month to anywhere in the 50 US states
• The candidate must be able to meet operational and logistical requirements associated with this role
• Remote – Regional home base Time zone needed at the time of hire

Compensation:

Salary Range - $60,000 - $70,000 USD

This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range above, exclusive of potential bonuses. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as professional background, skills, education, and experience.
