Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government Client’s customized construction management system. The role includes virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineering staff, construction crews, leadership, and external contractors to ensure they gain the necessary knowledge and skills for the new system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with related experience.
• 3 years of related experience required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Travel frequency contingent on duties and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and in-person environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain classroom management and engage students throughout sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Suggest improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent training team professionally with Government and contractors.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
