Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training in support of a federal client’s construction management system deployment. You will conduct virtual and in-person sessions for project managers, engineering staff, and contractors to ensure users gain the knowledge to operate the new system.

The role requires strong classroom facilitation, experience delivering software training, and the ability to support large-scale change across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience with software training and enterprise systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training in virtual and classroom environments.
• Train personnel, project managers, engineering staff, and contractors.
• Follow approved lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Answer questions and provide guidance during sessions.
• Maintain classroom engagement and management.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer and knowledge transfer activities.
• Coordinate schedules and logistics with Training/Program Managers.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team professionally to government staff and stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels and support change management.
