About the Role

The Senior Software Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and executing manual and automated testing frameworks to support robust software development life cycles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test frameworks.
2. Plan and execute smoke tests, patch tests, release validations, and full product testing.
3. Develop comprehensive end-to-end, operational, and performance test plans.
4. Collaborate with development and other departments to align testing strategies.
5. Perform verification and validation activities, documenting test results.
6. Review release documentation for completeness and accuracy.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver, Postman, Java, and Python.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and bug-tracking tools (Jira).
• Knowledge of test management tools, scripting, databases, and build processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
