Position Summary

The Senior Software Test Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of software products by designing, maintaining, and executing manual and automated tests supporting software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test frameworks.
• Plan and execute smoke tests, patch tests, release validations, and full product testing.
• Develop comprehensive end-to-end, operational, and performance test plans.
• Collaborate with development and other departments on testing strategies.
• Perform verification and validation activities, documenting results.
• Review and create release documentation for accuracy.
• Improve testing and validation processes continuously.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience testing across the full SDLC.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver, Postman.
• Strong Java and Python skills.
• Experience with version control (Git), bug-tracking (Jira).
• Test management tools experience preferred.
• Knowledge of scripting, databases, build tools, installation processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Creative and strategic approach to testing.
