Job summary

Star Storage is seeking an enthusiastic Technical Writer to join the Product Engineering division. You will create, edit, and maintain documentation for Star Storage software products, working with engineering and product teams to understand the products and documentation requirements.

You will gather information by reading existing docs and using the product, write documentation for customers and end-users, and deliver high-quality material on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of technical writing and software documentation experience.
• Minimum 1 year understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Romanian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain documentation for Star Storage software products.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand product and documentation requirements.
• Write customer and end-user documentation and technical guides.
• Publish documentation and perform quality checks before release.
• Create short video tutorials of the software products.
• Identify product issues and report to developers.
• Communicate information clearly and concisely in writing.
