Sanmina Corporation, a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider, seeks a Senior Technical Writer to transform complex engineering processes and hardware specifications into customer-facing manuals for storage servers, high‑compute servers, JBODs, and GPU accelerators.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to design, edit, photograph, and layout technical documentation that meets exacting quality and visual standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent directly related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in technical writing.
• 5+ years working as a technical writer in electronics/hardware product development (storage and high‑compute servers, JBODs, and/or GPU accelerator platforms).
• Strong technical acumen and hands-on capability to interact with physical hardware.
• Experience in product photography, image editing, and incorporating visual media into technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge and recent experience using Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar visual and layout tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to format and design highly readable documents (portfolio/samples required).
• Demonstrated experience interviewing SMEs and leading cross-functional information-gathering meetings.
• Experience developing engaging technical training materials and tracking compliance matrices.
• Experience mentoring, guiding, or leading junior technical writers is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Content Creation & Design: create docs including user guides, specs, photos, and marketing materials.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Information Gathering: coordinate meetings with engineering leaders and SMEs.
• Product Photography & Illustration: photograph hardware and create visuals for docs.
• Hardware Proficiency: understand complex enterprise hardware architectures and document features.
• Document Management: maintain the product documentation library and control access.
• Continuous Improvement & Gap Analysis: identify missing information and modernize formatting.
• Training Leadership: create and maintain technical training materials and compliance matrices.
• Mentorship: guide junior writers and set documentation quality standards.
