This Solutions Sales role is part of the Software Solutions Sales Team. This team drives our Strategic Solutions into key customers and partners within the Retail, Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics, and Hospitality verticals. The role focuses on achieving sales success and market penetration to foster growth, selling directly to end-users and via channels, with an emphasis on new business within assigned accounts and regions/territories.
Ideally located in the Western U.S., with the ability to travel approximately 50%.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to meet targets and objectives.
- Lead all aspects of the sales cycle in target accounts, including solution development, deal negotiation, and closing.
- Become an expert in Workcloud Solutions for your accounts/region/territory.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
- Handle contracts and agreements, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
- Meet and exceed quotas for contracts and revenue through multi-year cloud contracts.
- Experience with closing large, enterprise-wide annual recurring revenue contracts (ARR).
- Understand Zebra’s value propositions and how our solutions deliver customer value.
- Identify, reach, and influence decision-makers and stakeholders within prospects.
- Build a productive territory, guiding retailers from suspect to long-term clients.
- Engage with prospects regularly in the field.
- Align retailer priorities with Zebra solutions and move projects to closure efficiently.
- Hold prospects accountable for their part in project progression.
- Work collaboratively with sales teams, solution consultants, partners, and others.
- Maintain knowledge of solutions, industry events, and competitive differentiators.
- Adopt a challenger approach—understand client issues and proactively offer solutions.
Qualifications:Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
- Experience with B2B SaaS solutions in Retail, MTL, and Hospitality sectors.
- Reside in the Western U.S. with ability to travel approximately 50%.
Preferred:
- Experience in workforce management SaaS sales.
- Credibility to partner with C-level executives and develop relationships with leading brands.
- Track record of selling high-value, multi-year SaaS contracts with 6-12 months sales cycles.
- Ability to penetrate new accounts and create needs proactively.
- Technical aptitude and desire to understand how software empowers retailers.
- Strong value-based selling skills and business acumen.
- Ability to build a business case for change and assemble the right team to close deals.
- Operate autonomously with decision-making impact on sales effectiveness.
