Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to automate installation, configuration, testing, and operations for HPC telemetry systems in a Linux environment. The role emphasizes scripting, data-ingestion pipelines, and CM tooling across diverse architectures.

The candidate should have a TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly, 8+ years in related work, and experience with Linux, bash/python, and containerization. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Maryland/Jessup area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software.
• Experience designing, implementing, verifying, and validating telemetry data-ingestion pipelines for HPC infrastructure, equipment and services.
• Proficiency with Linux tools and scripting for automation of provisioning and deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI.
• Strong documentation and CM tool experience; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
• Generate documentation for the full software stack.
• Update software for sustainment support.
• Provide basic Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
• Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
• Work with CM tools, web docs, and issue tracking.
• Switch between multiple architectural paradigms in a fast-paced setting.
