Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support integration, automation, testing, and sustainment of HPC-focused software systems in a Linux environment. The role emphasizes automation, telemetry data ingestion, and cross-team collaboration to ensure observability and reliability of complex HPC infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Eight (8) years of experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS and GOTS software in heterogeneous OS environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or five years of related experience in lieu).
• Experience with Linux command-line tools, basic Linux admin, Bash and Python scripting, and automating provisioning/configuration of HPC systems.

Responsibilities

• Automate installation, configuration, testing, deployment, and operational management of metrics and monitoring solutions.
• Design and verify telemetry data-ingestion pipelines for HPC infrastructure and services.
• Integrate and sustain COTS and GOTS software across heterogeneous environments.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts for provisioning and sustenance of HPC systems.
• Support tools for system metrics, monitoring, logging, alerting, and telemetry.
• Execute tests and performance-characterization activities for validation.
