Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain system-management software for Linux-based HPC environments. You will build automation, provisioning, monitoring, and security tooling, leveraging Python and Rust, with Docker/Podman and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Experience developing software for Linux HPC environments.
Proficiency in Python and/or Rust for software solutions.
Experience with containerization and automation tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain system-management software for Linux-based HPC environments.
Develop automation and provisioning tools for HPC systems.
Create containerized applications and manage runtime configurations with Docker/Podman/containerd.
Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and automation scripts (Bash/Python).
Collaborate with systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and DevOps teams to deliver software solutions.
Troubleshoot and debug software in development, test, and production environments.
