Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to automate installation and configuration of software, build reliable telemetry pipelines, and sustain HPC tooling in a Linux-based environment. You will work across software, systems, and operations teams to ensure observability and performance of high-performance computing resources.

The role emphasizes hands-on scripting (Bash, Python), testing, documentation, and collaboration in a fast-paced mission environment.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting software in heterogeneous OS environments.
• Strong Linux command-line, scripting (Bash/Python), and automation for HPC systems.
• Ability to design telemetry data-ingestion pipelines and observability solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, source control, and documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently and with mission-focused teams in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Automate installation, configuration, testing, deployment and operations of telemetry solutions.
• Design and validate telemetry data-ingestion pipelines for HPC infrastructure.
• Integrate and sustain software across heterogeneous OS environments.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts for provisioning and configuration of HPC systems.
• Support metrics, monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
