Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to automate installation, configuration, and testing of metrics and telemetry for HPC environments. You will develop scripts and pipelines, integrate COTS/GOTS software, and ensure observability across diverse systems.

You will collaborate with software, systems, and operations teams in a fast-paced mission environment, requiring strong Linux skills and scripting proficiency. Security clearances may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires Linux command-line experience and basic Linux administration.
• Requires Bash and Python scripting.
• Experience automating provisioning and configuration of HPC systems.
• Experience with software integration, installation, upgrades, testing, and sustainment.
• Ability to design telemetry data-ingestion pipelines for HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Automate installation, configuration, testing, deployment, and operations of metrics and monitoring solutions.
• Design and validate telemetry pipelines supporting HPC infrastructure and services.
• Integrate and sustain COTS/GOTS software across heterogeneous OS environments.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts for provisioning and configuring HPC systems.
• Support tooling for metrics, monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Troubleshoot software integration across apps, OS, containers, networks, and infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation for software stacks, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
