Ladders is seeking a Software Engineering Technical Leader (remote) to join our team in shaping security governance across the software development lifecycle. This senior role drives how policies become practical, structured requirements and scalable reporting.

Based in a remote capacity, you will partner cross-functionally, transform policies into machine-readable requirements, and lead strategic SDLC governance initiatives in a fast-paced telecommunications and hardware context.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong experience with Secure SDLC and software security requirements governance.
• Ability to translate policies into actionable, machine-readable requirements.
• Leadership in cross-functional transformation initiatives.
• Background in DevSecOps and build environment security strategy.

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineering Technical Leader (remote) - 2025538 to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This remote leadership role will focus on advancing software security governance within a complex technology environment. The individual will help shape how security requirements are defined, operationalized, and maintained across the software development lifecycle. This position also requires strong cross-functional partnership to convert policy into practical, structured requirements that support scalable execution and reporting.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $151,600 – $222,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of software security requirements governance
• Manage intake of improvement requests and coordinate requirements releases
• Drive strategic SDLC governance initiatives
• Transform software security requirements into structured, machine-readable formats
• Design and maintain workflows for security requirements governance and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 3 years of experience in a related field
• Extensive experience in Secure SDLC methodology and software security requirements governance
• Proven ability to transform static policies into actionable, machine-readable requirements
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional transformation initiatives
• Strong background in DevSecOps and build environment security strategy
