Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help shape core technology for payment workflows, transaction reporting, and connected digital experiences. You will work across full-stack components with product and engineering partners to turn requirements into scalable designs.

Responsibilities include contributing to architecture, building APIs for web and mobile, reviewing code, and solving cross-stack issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants for software development.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will help shape and develop core technology capabilities that support payment workflows, transaction reporting, and connected digital experiences. You will work across full-stack components, partnering with product and engineering stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable technical designs. The position also plays a key role in maintaining engineering quality through thoughtful architecture, code reviews, and hands-on problem solving.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $121,500 - $145,500 annually
