Job description

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with eviCore healthcare MSI, Inc..

Responsibilities:

1. Build Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to enable seamless data flow from source to target.
2. Load and enhance dimensional data models, perform code reviews, and participate in sprint ceremonies.
3. Leverage code to apply business rules, ensuring data is clean and correctly interpreted by all business stakeholders.
4. Analyze reports using various tools.
5. Support offshore operations teams, train them on ETL processes, and assist users with data management questions. Troubleshoot and resolve data or ETL process issues.
6. Optimize existing code for efficiency.
7. Maintain and create documentation describing data management processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering (or foreign equivalent) plus five years of experience in solution architecture or a related role. Must have experience with:

• Languages and frameworks: Java/J2EE, Scala, Python, JavaScript, Spring 3.X, Hibernate 3.X, JSP, Servlet, EJB, JPA, Web Services.
• Big Data technologies: Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, HBase, Hive, Oozie, Sqoop, Spark, Kafka, NIFI, Hortonworks Data Platform, Azure HDInsight, Amazon EMR, Data bricks.
• Azure services: Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Bricks, Key Vault, Azure Table Storage, AZ copy, SQL Warehouse, Synapse, Azure Search.
• Databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift, HAWQ.
• Tools: JIRA, Git, Mercurial, SVN, Maven, Azure DevOps, Terraform.

Internet connection for remote work should be via cable broadband or fiber optic with minimum speeds of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
