Job Profile: Software Engineering Senior Advisor

This position is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities

1. Full stack software engineer responsible for developing patterns, processes, and applications that enable other Scrum teams to tackle big data and data science problems.

2. Understand business requirements and collaborate with cross-organizational teams. Utilize big data methodologies to solve business problems through application development, ensuring security, fault tolerance, and scalability.

3. Write referenceable and modular code.

4. Design and architect software solutions.

5. Ensure ongoing data quality by monitoring data to identify and resolve issues proactively.

6. Implement data pipelines to identify savings from various utilization management programs monthly.

7. Perform data processing and optimize query performance for efficient data retrieval.

8. Manage file ingestion processes to load data effectively.

9. Create APIs, deploy code, develop visualizations and reports, analyze logs, schedule jobs, and implement programming solutions. A virtual/hybrid work schedule is available.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Engineering, plus five years of experience in designing and developing data warehouses and business intelligence solutions. Must have experience with:
