Software Engineering Senior Advisors - Hybrid (Finance)

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities

1. Develop patterns, processes, and applications as a full stack software engineer to enable Scrum teams to address big data and data science challenges.
2. Collaborate with cross-organizational teams to understand business requirements and apply big data methodologies to solve business problems, ensuring security, fault tolerance, and scalability.
3. Write modular, referenceable code.
4. Design and architect software solutions.
5. Monitor data quality proactively to identify and resolve issues before impacting business operations.
6. Implement data pipelines to analyze utilization management programs and identify savings monthly.
7. Optimize data processing and query performance.
8. Handle file ingestion processes.
9. Create APIs, deploy code, develop visualizations and reports, analyze logs, schedule jobs, and implement programming solutions.
10. Work in a hybrid schedule with virtual/remote options available.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or foreign equivalent) plus five years of experience in designing and developing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. Must have experience with:

• Teradata and Informatica development
• ETL and DDL design
• Dimensional and relational database design
• Job scheduling and Agile methodologies
• UNIX Shell scripting
• Star and Snowflake schema design
• AWS, Python, Databricks

Additional Requirements

For remote work, a broadband or fiber optic internet connection with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds is required.
