Application Development Senior Advisors - Hybrid (Finance)

The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Advisor, a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities
  1. Set and execute design, engineering standards, and delivery processes across Affordability & Accuracy Prepay Solutions' (AAPS) applications to meet growth and strategic goals.
  2. Act as the principal designer for complex systems and their subsystems in collaboration with our Technology (IT) partners.
  3. Provide counsel and advice to management on significant Application Development matters.
  4. Coordinate activities between stakeholder organizations.
  5. Research and evaluate alternative solutions, recommending the most efficient and cost-effective options. Implement threshold checks for unit test coverage within the CI/CD pipeline. Manage data using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  6. Build key frameworks, including DevOps/testing automation, promoting modularity, configurability, reusability, reliability, and telemetry.
  7. Work with cloud-based development and solutions.
  8. Assess software delivery throughput and code stability.
  9. Align complex business problems in healthcare with advanced application design and coding techniques to meet organizational goals. Partial virtual/work-from-home options are available.
Qualifications

Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer and Information Science, Computer Science and Engineering, or related fields, plus five (5) years of experience in software development, or a master's degree or foreign equivalent in the same fields plus two (2) years of experience. Experience must include .Net Framework, C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, TFS, Git, Entity Framework, SSIS, SSRS, XML, and SQL.

If working remotely, a broadband or fiber optic internet connection with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speeds is required.
