Job Overview

The position is for a Software Engineering Senior Advisor, a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities

1. Develop patterns, processes, and applications to enable Scrum teams to address big data and data science challenges.
2. Collaborate with cross-organizational teams to understand business requirements and utilize big data methodologies, ensuring security, fault tolerance, and scalability.
3. Write modular, referenceable code.
4. Design and architect software solutions.
5. Monitor data quality and resolve issues proactively.
6. Implement data pipelines to identify savings from utilization management programs monthly.
7. Optimize data processing and query performance.
8. Handle file ingestion and data loading.
9. Create APIs, deploy code, generate visualizations and reports, analyze logs, schedule jobs, and implement programming solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computers or engineering (or foreign equivalent) plus five years of experience in data warehouse and business intelligence solutions development. Must have experience with:

• Teradata and Informatica development
• ETL and DDL design
• Dimensional and relational database design
• Job scheduling and Agile methodology
• UNIX Shell scripting
• Star and Snowflake schemas
• AWS, Python, Databricks

For remote work, a broadband internet connection of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required.
