Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in Beavercreek, OH, delivering mission-critical software for programs and IRADs within the Weapons Integration & Mission Solutions unit.

You will drive technical leadership, foster mentorship, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet program goals while adhering to ethical, inclusive practices and agile processes.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering/CS with 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects or M.S. with 3+ years.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Experience delivering sophisticated engineering solutions to customer requirements.
• Experience in leadership roles (people or technical).
• Experience in software engineering full stack with Java, Go, or Python; front-end with Angular/React/Vue.
• Experience in agile Scrum Master role with facilitating ceremonies and using Jira/Azure DevOps/Confluence/Miro.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership to the software team within NG Defense Systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet program needs.
• Participate in engineering or Scrum Master activities in InSITE program.
• Lead diverse teams with mentoring and coaching.
