Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a cleared or clearable System & Software Engineering Manager 2 in Cincinnati, OH to lead a team and drive SEIT activities across programs in the Intelligence and Defense sectors. The role combines direct people management with SEIT leadership on technically challenging systems.

You will guide a high-performing cyber software engineering team, manage workload, recruit top talent, and ensure program integrity and policy compliance while coordinating with a Chief

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering management, program management, and leadership in the military.
• Experience as a technical leader in a Systems Engineering or related field.
• US Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Managing and guiding direct report software engineers.
• Setting objectives for your team and monitoring progress.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring engineering talent.
• Providing mentoring, career development and training for team members.
• Coordinating tooling and resources for development activities.
• Lead the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test activities on programs.
• Plan and execute system reviews and coordinate program integration activities.
• Oversee verification, validation, and system test plans.
• Oversee system configuration management and interface requirements.
