Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector in Warner Robins, GA seeks a Software Engineering Manager 1 to guide cross-functional teams in delivering new software and upgrades. Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
- MS preferred with 3+ years of relevant technical leadership experience.
- Proficient in C/C++ and Ada; strong lifecycle process knowledge.
- Ability to lead, coach, and manage teams in a collaborative environment.
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate people, resources, and processes for software delivery.
- Lead performance reviews, staffing programs, and career development.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple programs (aircraft EW, radar, avionics).
- Lead a software team; set goals, mentor, and manage program execution.
- Support proposals, white papers, and new business initiatives.
