Job summary

Election Systems & Software is seeking a Software Engineering Manager on the Product Development team to lead a group of developers building the next generation of our voting solutions in the United States. You will mentor engineers, drive engineering culture, and ensure high-quality delivery using modern practices.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and Architects, apply Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps methods, and help translate product initiatives into actionable plans while growing the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development/engineering experience with C#, Java, or C++
• Proficiency with web frameworks (Angular) and relational DBs (SQL Server)
• 2+ years of leadership or people management experience

Responsibilities

• Perform management duties for a team of Software Engineers
• Execute against major product initiatives using Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices
• Provide technical leadership with secure coding and shift-left mindset
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Architects, and Development Leadership on design and timelines
