Job summary

Highview Staffing is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Massachusetts to shape the next generation of customer interaction through AI-powered platforms. You will lead a team of 4 to 8 engineers, drive architectural decisions, and guide product design and delivery.

The role blends technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration, budget management, and roadmap execution. You’ll work in a flexible hybrid model with remote options, joining a motivated team and management structure

Job description

One of the area's most stable and innovative firm's is hiring for a software engineering manager that will shape the next generation of how we interact and do business with the customer base. The next generation platform will combine the latest in AI technology while also transforming the existing systems for the most modern performance.

The successful engineering manager will possess a strong mixture of technical chops, leadership/mentorship, product building/designing, and strong ability to communicate and share a vision with cross functional teams, customers, and leadership. This person will manage a team of anywhere from 4 to 8 engineers with the opportunity to also take over other development teams as well. The current roadmap has us combining AI technology with continuing to build out a modern distributed microservice architecture. You will play a key role in building the team while also researching and developing innovative products.

Must have:

• 3+ years Development Management experience leading product or application builds
• Experience building, leading, and mentoring teams in a technology development realm
• Experience leading teams in digital transformation to include AI integration
• Ability to manage people, budgets, timeline, and delivery across multiple teams and level
• Proven track record building scalable products and platforms ideally in the .NET stack
• Willingness to adapt and grow with a fast moving company
