Job summary

KNOWiNK is seeking a Software Project Manager to lead complex technical work, connecting engineering, QA, product, and leadership from kickoff through delivery. Qualifications

• 5+ years of software project management experience in a fast-paced product or engineering environment.
• Fluency with agile/scrum methodology and practical application.
• Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar tools to manage projects from scratch when needed.
• Track record of managing multiple technical projects simultaneously without dropping balls.
• Clear, direct communication with engineers and executives alike.
• Ability to translate between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own software project timelines end to end across multiple concurrent projects.
• Partner with engineering leads and QA to build realistic roadmaps and keep them realistic.
• Run standups, sprint planning, and retros, avoiding unnecessary meetings.
• Spot and communicate risks to leadership before they become issues.
• Translate between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to avoid misunderstandings.
• Manage scope conversations calmly when priorities shift.
• Create and maintain project documentation that is actually used.
• Collaborate with CTO, COO, and department directors to align work with company priorities, especially during election cycles.
