CVS Health is building a workforce analytics platform and needs a Software Engineer to develop and operate analytics software. You will work with Python services, SQL transformations, and BI integrations, partnering with data and HR specialists to translate requirements into reliable code and tests.

You will advance the analytics stack, ensure security practices, and contribute to Superset datasets and dashboards while supporting reliable releases across development, staging, and production

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of Python or a comparable language and automated tests.
• 3+ years building or integrating APIs, data workflows, or production systems.
• 3+ years across application code, data transformations, and tooling.
• 2+ years advanced SQL with BigQuery, including scripting and optimization.
• 2+ years Kimball dimensional modeling concepts.
• 2+ years Airflow or Cloud Composer in ETL contexts.
• 2+ years with cloud data platforms, especially GCP.
• 1+ year with enterprise BI layers (Superset, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
• 1+ year Git, code review, and CI/CD practices.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features across Python, SQL, and workflow code.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks; collaborate with data, HR partners.
• Participate in code reviews and write automated tests for logic and data contracts.
• Build and maintain BigQuery transformations and models for the product.
