Job summary

ICF Next is building secure, accessible web applications for data entry, batch ingestion, validation, and reporting within a federal cloud environment. You will contribute across the stack with C#, .NET, APIs, SQL Server, and modern front-end tech.

The role emphasizes ongoing modernization, automated testing, and reliable production operations, while ensuring Section 508/WCAG compliance and robust data security. Strong collaboration and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years developing and supporting production web applications using C#, .NET or .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC or Web API with OO design.
• 2+ years with SQL Server or other relational DB including data modeling and performance troubleshooting.
• 1+ year developing browser-based interfaces and consuming REST APIs with HTML/CSS/JS/TS and JSON.
• 1+ year writing automated tests and using Git-based source control, PRs, and code reviews.
• 1+ year implementing authentication/authorization and secure handling of data.
• Ability to work in the United States and obtain a favorable Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain production web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core/MVC, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, web services, and system integrations for secure data exchange.
• Implement data entry, batch upload, validation, workflow, and data download capabilities.
• Design and optimize SQL Server data models, queries, stored procedures, and support data migration and history.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Support production operations by troubleshooting defects, reviewing logs, and delivering fixes.
• Apply secure coding, least-privilege access, and accessibility requirements across delivery.
• Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and code reviews with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, cloud, security, QA, and product teams.
