Job summary

ICF Next in the United States is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, build, test, and support secure web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core or MVC, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. You will develop REST APIs, optimize SQL Server data models, and contribute to automated tests and CI/CD pipelines while improving performance, reliability, and data quality in a federal cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in CS/SE.
• 3+ years building and supporting production web apps with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
• 2+ years with SQL Server data modeling and performance tuning.
• 1+ year building browser interfaces with HTML/CSS/JS/TS and REST.
• 1+ year using Git, code reviews and CI/CD.
• 1+ year implementing authentication and authorization securely.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain secure web applications using C#, .NET, and modern JS.
• Build REST APIs and system integrations for data exchange.
• Design SQL Server data models and support data migration and reconciliation.
• Write automated tests and participate in build/test/deploy pipelines.
• Investigate production issues and implement fixes with logs and monitoring.
• Ensure accessibility and security standards throughout delivery.
