Job summary

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a seasoned Web Developer to build secure, mission-critical federal applications in an Agile environment. You will develop with C#, .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages, and craft modern UIs using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

The role emphasizes secure coding, API integration, and CI/CD within a SAFe framework. You will also design and maintain SQL Server data layers, troubleshoot across the stack, and contribute to security

Qualifications

• 6+ years of web application development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with C# and .NET 8+/ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript for frontend.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Strong understanding of architecture, API integration, and reusable development patterns.
• Experience troubleshooting full-stack across UI, API, database, and hosting layers.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and automated builds.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently in a collaborative team.
• Experience developing secure web applications and applying secure coding practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools while testing generated code.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Razor Pages.
• Build modern user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases and data access layers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack (UI, API, database, hosting).
• Implement secure coding practices and remediate security findings.
• Support authentication and authorization solutions using modern identity standards.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders in a SAFe Agile environment.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools while maintaining code quality and testing.
