Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer to join the Customer Engagement Systems team for Leo, building telecom applications and services that power how customers order, activate, and manage broadband subscriptions.

You will design and implement components at the intersection of satellite networking and customer-facing communications, spanning requirements, design, testing, deployment, and operations to solve scale challenges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement telecom components and services for ordering, billing, subscriber management, and notifications.
• Collaborate with Satellite, Networks, and Security teams to integrate systems with the core network.
• Create scalable components and data models for high-reliability workloads.
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle including reviews, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Document architecture and mentor teammates on software construction and maintenance.
