Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Software Dev Engineer to help design and build the Leo satellite system. You will participate in all phases of software development, developing embedded software and cloud services for mission planning, execution, and telemetry.

• 5+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered software systems using C++, Java, C# or Perl.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations.
• Automate mission planning and execution to operate the Leo fleet at scale.
• Develop embedded software in C, C++, Rust, or other languages in a real-time OS environment.
• Develop AWS cloud services that manage the Leo satellites.
• Write system applications for satellite command, file transfer and telemetry.
