Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and implement telecom components and services for its Leo Commerce engineering organization. You will partner with satellite, networks, security teams and collaborate across product, UX, marketing, and backend commerce teams to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Telecom Components, Applications and Services.
• Partner with the Satellite, Networks and Security engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, marketing, and backend commerce service teams to translate customer and business needs into scalable solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate feature delivery and improve infrastructure using AWS services.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor others on front-end best practices and coding standards.
• Write clear documentation for your team's software and train new team members.
