Job summary

Amazon Leo Commerce is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join the Customer Engagement Systems team in Redmond, WA. You will design and implement telecom components, services, and data models for ordering, billing, subscriber management, and notifications for a global satellite broadband service.

You will work across the full software development lifecycle, partnering with Satellite, Networks, and Security teams to build scalable, reliable software that powers customer interactions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of SDE or related occupational experience.
• Experience designing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement telecom components, applications, and services for ordering, billing, subscriber management, and notifications.
• Partner with Satellite, Networks, and Security teams to integrate Customer Engagement Systems with the core network.
• Design scalable components, services, and data models for high-reliability workloads.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle including reviews, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Document system architecture and mentor teammates on software construction and maintenance.
