Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain secure file transfer solutions and API integrations between the Record Management System and web applications. You will work on file upload/download functionality and ensure compliance with security standards.

Remote-eligible role with potential travel; DoD contract requires U.S. citizenship. Reports to the Associate Director, HGB IT Platform and Foundational Services for Humana Military. 40 hours weekly; salary range shown below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in systems analysis or application programming development.
• Proven experience in Visual Studio, ADO Repository, and NuGet package management using C# and .NET.
• Hands-on experience building SSIS packages.
• Interim approval for NBIS background clearance and U.S. citizenship for DoD contract.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot automated file transfer jobs and FTP/SFTP connections.
• Gather business requirements and ensure compliance with operational and security standards.
• Design and implement API integrations between the Record Management System and web applications.
