affirm is seeking a software engineer to work on web apps and APIs in a remote-friendly, remote-first environment. You will break down work, collaborate with product management, design and analytics, and help keep team artifacts healthy through metrics and on-call support.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale (Python/Kotlin).
• Ability to translate simple problems into multi-component solutions and write clean, testable code.
• Comfort debugging large code bases and participating in reviews.
• Strong communication and willingness to grow with the team.
