Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a customer-focused software engineer to diagnose and fix issues in our enterprise products. You will work within an agile team, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and QA to identify root causes and optimize performance across hybrid cloud environments.

You should be proficient in .NET/C#, SQL, and debugging in Visual Studio, with experience using Azure DevOps or Jira.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of designing and developing software in a product development environment.
• Proficiency in .NET/C# and SQL.
• SQL performance troubleshooting and tuning preferred.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio IDE and Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Practical experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, focused team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to socialize ideas and influence decisions.
• Committment to best-practice standards and process.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and develop software solutions for PDI products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation of all software solutions.
• Perform engineering level tests to identify defects; troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Partner with Product Management to consult on solution feasibility and high-level effort estimation.
• Prepare and provide case status and risk assessments to management to escalate and prioritize issues.
• Use a disciplined Agile approach to analyze and determine solutions to technical challenges.
• Work with Product Owner to clarify and estimate feature work.
• A week of after-hours support availability every 3-4 months.
