Job summary

PDI Technologies is seeking a software engineer to diagnose and resolve complex issues across our AI-powered enterprise software portfolio. You will work within an agile team, collaborating with product managers and engineers to drive reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.

You will leverage .NET/C#, SQL tuning, and AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code) in a hybrid environment, mentoring peers and contributing to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience designing and developing software in a product development environment.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and optimization skills.
• Experience with Visual Studio IDE and Azure DevOps.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• At least 2 years of Agile development experience.
• 1+ year of experience serving as a technical team lead preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; translate technical concepts clearly.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and develop software solutions for PDI products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with urgency and maintain thorough documentation.
• Perform engineering tests to find defects; troubleshoot and debug production issues.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and contribute to the development of AI agents, skills, and other tools.
• Guide and trains less experienced engineers.
• Partner with Product Management to consult on solution feasibility and high-level effort estimation.
• Provide case status and risk assessments to their manager with appropriate levels of detail.
• Use a disciplined Agile approach to analyze and determine preferred solutions to technical challenges.
• Work with Product Owner to clarify and estimate feature work.
