T. Rowe Price seeks a Software Engineer to build cloud-native, next-generation applications for the Investment Division. This hands-on, full-stack role spans design, development, deployment, and enhancement, with collaboration across technology and business teams.

You’ll work with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, traders, and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and learn continuously in a supportive, inclusive environment. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with modern frameworks and tools: Pandas, React, Node.js, Spring Boot.
• Experience with modern cloud technologies including containers and serverless architectures.
• Quality-focused software development with testing practices (TDD, BDD, Cucumber, Cypress).
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redshift.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the full product lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, traders, and stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality solutions iteratively with a client-focused mindset.
• Promote modern software engineering practices: agile, CD, code review, testing, refactoring.
• Share knowledge and support teammates in an inclusive team environment.
• Demonstrate curiosity and collaboration to drive impactful outcomes.
