Job summary

T. Rowe Price is seeking a Software Engineer for its Multi-Asset Front Office Technology team in Baltimore. This hands-on, full-stack role builds cloud-native applications to support the Investment Division, collaborating with portfolio managers, researchers, traders, and senior stakeholders.

You will contribute across the product lifecycle with a focus on quality, agility, and scalable solutions that deliver real business value.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience with Pandas, React, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
Experience with modern cloud technologies, containerization, and serverless architectures.
Experience with testing practices and tools: TDD, BDD, Cucumber, Cypress.
Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redshift.

Responsibilities

Contribute across the full product lifecycle from design to deployment and enhancement.
Collaborate with portfolio managers, quants, traders, and senior stakeholders.
Apply modern software engineering practices including agile, CI/CD, code reviews, and refactoring.
Build high-quality, scalable software for multi-asset front-office needs.
