Job summary

T. Rowe Price, a premier global asset management firm, is hiring a Software Engineer for its Multi-Asset Front Office Technology team to build next-generation cloud-native applications supporting the Investment Division.

The role is hands-on, full-stack, and collaborative, delivering across design, development, deployment, and enhancement. You will work with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, traders, and senior stakeholders to create high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in a field with meaningful mathematical and computing content or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Pandas, React, Node.js, Spring Boot.
• Experience with cloud technologies including containerization and serverless.
• Familiarity with testing practices (TDD/BDD/Cucumber/Cypress) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redshift).

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the full product lifecycle from design to deployment and enhancement.
• Work with portfolio managers, quants, traders, and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Adopt modern software engineering practices, including agile development, code reviews, testing, and refactoring.
• Collaborate across technology and business teams to build scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Support and mentor teammates to foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.
