Job summary

T. Rowe Price is modernizing its investment operations with cloud-native applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and deliver scalable full-stack solutions, collaborating with a global team to meet business needs and improve data-driven decision making.

You will work in the Cash Management Technology group, focusing on real-time data delivery, third-party integrations, and modernization of in-house apps. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, math, engineering or related field with 5+ years of software engineering.
• Strong experience with .NET and modern JS frameworks (Angular/React/Node.js).
• Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Design and develop practical APIs and software abstractions.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and containerized microservices (AWS preferred).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, and Linux scripting.
• Understanding of design patterns and debugging large-scale apps.
• Experience in Agile environments and collaborative work culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Build high-quality, scalable software using modern engineering practices.
• Drive engineering best practices, code reviews, and manage technical debt.
