Job summary

Chime is seeking a Software Engineer focused on the Communication Platform in San Francisco to build scalable messaging infrastructure and define messaging interfaces across apps for millions of members.

You will contribute from backend to frontend, drive architectural changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality code and a fast, reliable user experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fullstack development experience.
• Experience in backend development and frameworks (GraphQL, Ruby).
• Experience in mobile development (React Native) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and scale changes to our mobile and backend architecture.
• Collaborate effectively with the cross functional team to solve complex problems within the team domain.
• Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance on all new code.
• Work in a team as well as independently to deliver on goals to accelerate development velocity while delivering the best experience to our members.
