Job summary

Amentum is seeking a DevOps professional in Hanover, MD, focusing on cyber security training delivery across multiple states. You will design software for computer-based training, test security solutions, and support operations with a focus on scalable, secure delivery environments.

The role requires 5+ years of software development experience across Ruby, Java, C++, HTML/CSS/JS, and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL, Windows and Linux, plus Agile methods. TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with five years of experience, or Bachelor’s with ten years of experience, or other combinations as specified.
• Five years of software development experience; proficiency in Ruby, Java, C++, HTML/CSS/JS; experience with SQL/NoSQL; familiarity with Windows and Linux; agile methodologies.
• Required Certifications: Sec+ or equivalent

Job description

Purpose and Impact:

Amentum is recruiting for a DevOps role in Hanover, MD with a focus on cyber security training delivery across multiple states. The team develops tailored, high quality software solutions for instructional staff and students, covering configuration, deployment, testing, and code delivery. The candidate should have software engineering, web application development, or DevOps experience and be self-starting.

Work Schedule:

The courses are active 0700-1800 M-F. Core hours are 1000-1400. Flexibility on arrival/departure, with occasional support before or after course hours.

Essential Responsibilities:
