Amentum in Hanover, MD is seeking a software DevOps professional to design, develop, and maintain advanced cyber training platforms. You will work across Windows and Linux, using modern frameworks and virtualization to deliver immersive learning environments.

Ideal candidates have strong DevOps, software engineering, and UI/UX capabilities, with an emphasis on scalable, secure solutions for mission-critical training programs.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of software development experience; degrees may substitute for experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, shell scripting, C++, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON/XML, JavaScript/TypeScript, JQuery, React.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server/workstation administration.
• Experience with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software for computer-based training.
• Research and test security solutions for emerging technologies and concepts.
• Develop training scenarios to prepare students for operations.
• Maintain class management tools and update course content.
• Enhance and troubleshoot existing learning tools and interfaces.
