Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend or platform engineering.

• Demonstrated experience developing automation solutions for infrastructure, private cloud, or platform engineering environments.

Software Engineer

Location: Plano, Texas (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design and build the automation platforms that power our Internal Cloud Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) ecosystem. In this role, you will develop software products and platform services that automate the provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and operational governance of infrastructure components across the private cloud stack. This is a development-focused role where success is measured by the quality, scalability, and reliability of the software solutions you build.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices that automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Develop platform automation capabilities for compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and HCI services.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend or platform engineering.

Technical Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Java and modern software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated experience developing automation solutions for infrastructure, private cloud, or platform engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and API-driven automation principles.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building software platforms supporting private cloud or infrastructure services.
• Experience developing automation for VMware, Nutanix, OpenStack, or Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with infrastructure lifecycle management and self-service cloud delivery models.
• Exposure to observability platforms, telemetry, and monitoring.
• Experience working in large-scale regulated enterprises.
• Understanding of modern Platform Engineering concepts.
