Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Software Development Manager to own the team’s roadmap, ensure delivery of the strategic vision, and mentor engineers responsible for a distributed software system used to execute the Leo mission.

You will lead a diverse team building frontend tooling and backend services, define architecture, coordinate with ground and space teams, and drive performance, reliability, and operational excellence for mission success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Experience partnering with product or program management.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and manage a diverse team of engineers.
• Provide technical guidance to meet project objectives.
• Define team growth expectations and org strategy.
