Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
• 1+ years of providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• 1+ years of developing large-scale distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++
• 1+ years of developing large-scale distributed software systems using service-oriented architecture
• 1+ years of developing large-scale distributed software systems using distributed programming
• 5+ years of Software Engineer/Developer experience
• Knowledge of full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a software development team, establishing structure and processes for scalable, maintainable software
• Define and own the team's charter, vision, and 1–2 year product roadmap
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive architectural decisions
• Build a culture of operational rigor with metrics and best practices
• Coach and develop engineers across levels and build a pipeline of future leaders
